This grew out of a short online talk for an online event in 2024 called All About That Place. Now expanded to include the bewildering array of voting arrangements throughout the country and a real taste of just how ‘rotten’ the entire system was, before homing in on the three Rotten and Pocket Boroughs of the Isle of Wight. For genealogy groups this can include information about how we can use this information to develop our understanding of our ancestors’ lives.
